Room door left ajar by maid for hours. Thankfully none of our stuff was stolen

I had to wait 3 hours before my hotel room was ready and I made reservations 2 weeks prior to my stay driving 5 hours and when you make it to your hotel the room is not ready is terrible I was tired and all they offered was I could go in the gym room!
