Hand and Stone

I was originally booked for a massage, then a facial, then a massage. I was put in the first facial room, with the wrong esthetician, moved to another room and then taken to a third room for my second massage before my facial.

Everything was wonderful, but we had a communication language problem between the masseuse and myself, as I don’t think she spoke English

The services and operators were wonderful. I visit very often from Texas, where I now reside, having lived in PGA for 28 years, I enjoy the area and return many times during the year. Coming to Hand and Stone - I look forward to it.

I enjoyed the massage. I’ve had better. I felt my massage was just average.

this was my visit and I was not explained anything until I got into the room with the therapist.

I felt that it would have been better to have no rug rather than a very dirty one. It was as if they were trying too hard to create a spa atmosphere while missing the fresh clean space feel. It sets the tone for how the rest of the facility will feel. Taylor did a great job on the facial and that is the important part. Your survey asked so I am telling you my impressions of the waiting room. I came for the facial and I liked the facial. So overall I am happy. Like the expression goes…you can’t eat atmosphere.

My appt was at 1:00. I was addressed at 1:20. However, She did make up for the time at the end.

The staff at the reception area seemed overwhelmed and not as friendly as I expected.

Don’t know how to put it in words

My appointment was for 9:00 am. The therapist was late getting into work. But the desk staff did not tell me she was late at 9:00am when the other 8 clients sitting in the waiting room all went in for their appointments. When I got up and asked at 9:05, they seemed surprised I was still sitting there and that I hadn't been called in yet. So my massage started 10 minutes late. That doesn't seem like a lot but it's 20% of my 50 minute massage. I told the therapist that even though we started late, I needed to end on time because I had to leave AT 10:00. She said that that wouldn't be a problem. At 9:57 I glimpsed the clock and though the massage was still in process, asked her to wrap it up as I needed to leave. So she stopped and walked out. I dressed quickly and was out by the time I needed to but would have preferred she actually pay attention to the time and modify what she was doing so she could finish the massage and not just stop abruptly. Overall, not very relaxing or customer friendly experience.
