The rooms air conditioning was not very cool and the water in the shower took a long time to drain. Love that they are allowing dogs now!

tgood interactive slot machines are few and far between. beverage service took 26 minutes for a bottled beer. what good slot machines there are have a line of people waiting for them.

We had a great time but experienced a few problems. We checked in around 6pm on a Thursday, and after waiting in the long line we got up to the room, opened the door and found other people's stuff! We thought the previous guests had not yet checked out or something. My husband went back downstairs but I stayed in the hallway with the luggage because we figured they would give us another room in the same tower. I left the room and allowed the door to close because I felt weird about being in someone else's room. After about 5 minutes a woman arrived in front of the door and tried to get into the room but her key had been deactivated. I started chatting with her and explained that her key probably wasn't working because the hotel made an error and reassigned the room to us. She then told me, "Oh it will just be a few minutes I just have to grab my stuff and you can have the room. See the lady at the front desk said I could leave my stuff until 6 but I got lost trying to find the room. We didn't sleep in the bed or anything." Now, the woman was a little bit on the older side, walking with a cane, so I'm trying not to believe what she was telling me just in case she got a little mixed up...but what I think she was saying is that Harrah's had no problem giving her a different room then handing the old room over to new people without having housekeeping check it out in between. We got a different room, in a different tower and experienced a similar problem. Someone had used the bathroom prior to our arrival. There was a soap wrapper in the garbage as well as water on the floor of the bathroom, and a hand towel had been used. Everything else looked fresh and clean, and we were hurrying to our 7pm dinner reservation so we didn't bother complaining again. The red door spa was very nice. The pool was nice (a bit small) but the pool staff were very friendly and accommodating. I couldn't find the do not disturb door hanger, so I spoke to the AM housekeeper several times.

A lot of people called out because it was Christmas Eve. Took almost 2 hours to get our main course at dinner. Sat at a slot machine for six hours and couldn't even get a drink. Poker room had only one waitress and couldn't keep up. When I finally saw a waitress at the slot machines she totally Ignored me. I'm still here and will be here for four days but so far I am not happy with the service. I do understand the holiday has something to do with it.

Took forever to check in. Two hours later we finally got a room. Never had an issue when I stayed at taj mahal, probably will never stay at harrahs again.

Tried this hotel for the first time and definitely the last stay here. The hallways were blazing hot up until you got to the casino area even the halls going to your room were un air conditioned. Check out was at 11am in which housekeeper was knocking on your door at 10am. Everything is so spaced out and the walks are long also the non smoking sections were smoke filled. All around not booking here again.
