This was my first visit to hand & stone. The staff and experience were great! However, I received a gift certificate for $129.95. Since it was my first visit, I was looking forward to having a balance left on my gift card after booking an introductory special facial so that I could either use that balance towards future services or products. I was informed at check out that I would be charged the full $129.95 because I had a gift certificate & the total amount had to be used. But, I was told that the next time I book a facial, I would receive the introductory rate. This is a very bad company policy! I have never heard of having to use the entire balance of a gift card. Luckily, I hadn’t elected to add on any services or I would have had to pay out of pocket. Again, the staff was courteous, professional & very pleasant, but the company needs to seriously evaluate its policies on gift cards. It would have been nice to make hand & stone part of my self-care routine, but this policy was a deal breaker.

Room used for massage was not very inviting. The therapist was great and made me feel very comfortable. People at reception desk were very friendly and nice.

This was my first experience that I was dissatisfied. I had no problem with the rest of us except one.

Room to dark. Rubbing more then massage. Didn’t feel like I’d had anything when I left. Booked another message with 360 med spa less than 3 days later

For the price, I'd expect a much better ambiance overall. A dark room with soothing music alone doesn't create much of the therapeutic ambiance. Experience at Hand and Stone was pretty dull, however, massge was okay. I will try another massage studio and compare the offerings.

I was billed for something I didn't ask for. The masseuse used a different oil and I was charged extra for it and wasn't told nor asked if it was something I wanted.

Monique was absolutely amazing. This was the first time in my life that I actually fell asleep during a massage. She was friendly, knowledgeable and overall has an amazing sweet spirit. I have already recommended her and Hand and Stone McDonough to several people.
