Sooooo many employees standing around yet it took 35 min. And 4 service calls to get a beverage.

Barona has always been our go-to place for family celebrations. I can't say the same is true anymore. After having to wait 2 hours and 40 minutes (something we have never done, even with a party of 25) the hostess was a total "b" and was very rude. In addition to the 2+ hours wait, was another 30+ minute wait in line just to pay. By that time, our grandparents and the children we had with us were so tired that the celebration was pretty much ruined. 10 thumbs down Barona. I don't think we'll ever be back there again after 5+ years of being our go-to spot. Especially since we were harassed by the "b" hostess and told by her, that we were put at the very back of the line because we were not VIPs or gold members.

The cashiers on the floor are overly friendly to the point of making me uncomfortable. After I change my ticket in I don't want someone standing over my shoulder watching me play. Also when I put my light on, no one came. I had to get up and go all the way over to the cage to cash my ticket in. Ironically, all the cashiers were congregated there chatting. Is there anyone in charge? If I were their manager, I'd tell them that they should never be close enough to one another to conversate. There is so few of them.

Staff too personal. Games not fun

The staff is overbearing and too familiar and personal in their conversations. They seem to stand around too often chatting with one another and linger around games after transactions are complete. It was a bit creepy.

The wait line to the buffet was 2 1/2 hours. We left because of the waiting time. No food, no drinking, no gambling.

Normally I love this place. Sports bar down stairs was terrible. The staff was extremely in attentive.

The staff are way too friendly and familiar with customers. They've no right to call anyone baby or honey.
