The construction was the worst part. Lots of things shut down

A lot of construction going on but a great place to go on a nice day in the spring!

There are no elephants. The polar bear was not out. And both the Tigers(all big cats) and bears need a larger display.

You should put up signs of what is available to see in your construction area. I would not have wasted my time walking all the way down there if I'd known there was nothing down there.

We visited the zoo today for community free day so I can't really give a fair review as I know that on any other day it wouldn't have taken an hour to get through the jungle as it did today nor would we have had to park and walk 10 minutes to the entrance. We really enjoy visiting the zoo usually once at the beginning of the spring/summer and once around the fall as it is easy for a family of 4 to spend over $200 at the zoo in a day. It would be nice if things including admission weren't so expensive but I'm sure that with the size and amount of animals and staff that prices need to be that high, but it is hard for a family to go and enjoy themselves knowing they are spending so much.

I love this zoo! I love the availability of animals even when it is cold! I desperately wish there were elephants though.

Great zoo. Recommend checking to see what's going on during your planned trip ahead of time
