We went on a Sunday because we knew it was open a half an hour later on the weekends. All of the indoor exhibits as well as all of the food stands were closed at 5. There was no where to fill our cups and on our way out of the monorail we were unable to see the last exhibit we wanted to visit. My kids were very disappointed when we left without seeing everything we had come to see. There should be signs that state what time all of the indoor exhibits close instead of saying that the zoo is opened till 5:30.

My first time at the Bronx zoo it's not what I expected I thought there would be more anime I feel like it's a big zoo for nothing

A lot of the exhibits with the animals were closed and were unavailable to visit.
