Our favorite zoo

I feel that it is way too expensive! It cost over $100 for us to go once! The phoenix zoo is a little bit more for a 1 YEAR membership!!!

Have been there before, so would recommend. This trip however; was specifically for lunch at the restaurant at the zoo. They have a huge aquarium inside the restaurant with huge fish to admire while you eat.

Park needs to be cleaner. Benches and restrooms were disgusting.

I didn't mind paying $80 for admission for myself, my husband, and 3 year old because the zoo isn't in a huge city and may not have as many visitors so they have to charge more? The park was not well-kept. The walkways were dirt, the exhibits were hard to see for small children because of the logs they put in front. The animals didn't seem happy at all. I only saw two employees tending to the animals. The bathrooms were trashed. The restaurants had no AC and all of the things to do inside the park required cash. We had credit cards and couldn't pull out cash so we were so thirsty and hungry and felt left out because we couldn't do rides or anything. It seems so cheap to not accept credit cards. At least post it in plain sight on your website that you don't accept cards. What business now a days doesn't accept cards?!? There were way too many birds. The "tigers, lions, etc didn't even look like what they were labeled to be. They were black. The aquarium was nice because it had AC. It was kind of small but that was expected. I would not recommend this zoo and I feel sorry for the animals.
