There were bees by the swarms all over the zoo on this visit and I don't mean on flowers. They were all over the trash cans and tables in the outdoor dining areas. I'd point out one location but they were everywhere. Pick a trash can or outdoor dining spot. They were there! It was as unpleasant as shooing flies only these guys could sting you!

The polar bears are NEVER out. We are members and had our rates increased specifically to fund that exhibit and never see the polar bears.

A lot of the animals seemed distressed. The elephants were bouncing their heads, which is not normal behavior for them and the Tigers and giraffes were pacing pace at forth and looked uncomfortable.

The animals never seem to be out and there's always construction to where you can't see half of the place

Wish the paths at the zoo were more decorated and had better descriptions as to what's to come. Without a map, this zoo would be chaotic to get through as it has a lot of empty space or trees between each exhibit. The Columbus Zoo is 567468x better. I was surprised that more animals were available to be seen. Usually the animals are sick. I was disappointed that there was only one polar bear in that entire large, new exhibit.

There were too many exhibits closed for construction.
