I’m overall satisfied with hand and stone. My only complaints are that there’s an upcharge for deep tissue, and on this specific appointment I asked for lots of work on my neck, and the therapist spent maybe 3 minutes on my neck for my 90 minute session.

Massage therapist was a little rough when repositioning arms and legs and did not really address my problem areas as discussed

I have been a long time member of H&S. I've been satisfied with my therapist. However, I have seen over time a diminished value for the cost of service. I feel that the add on products/services are over priced and do not provide the value worthy. I have accumulated quite a bit of points so do not feel that using them on the services or getting a massage more than monthly is valuable - it would be nice to use on a gift to someone else.

I was charged extra for deep tissue on my massage and was not informed ahead of time. I don’t believe a difference of pressure should be something you pay for. It is a preference

I have the monthly membership. I feel like I am always pressured to make an up charge. I would ask for one if I wanted one when I booked the appointment.

I wasn't dissatisfied... the questions are just based as if I got a service done and it was only a consultation.

The massage itself was amazing. However, my masseuse talked a lot. He said I could tell him to be quiet but I felt uncomfortable telling him to stop talking. I thought it would be rude. That kind of ruined the relaxing experience. I don’t think I should have to ask for silence. Most people go in for a massage to relax, not talk. I am just really bad at speaking up for myself in those moments so I went along with it. I tried being short so he would get the hint. I also wish there was soft relaxing sounds playing to fill the silence. Otherwise the massage itself was very nice. Next time I will just ask for a silent appointment beforehand. I just didn’t realize I had to. Asking about areas and pressure are fine, but I don’t care to talk about his life or my life, at all.

I prefer not to have additional services suggested to me. I feel this location tends to suggest upgrades without letting you know they are lot part of your service. The other location I go to does not do this.
