My appt was from 4-5pm. After I had changed and was waiting on the table it took the esthetician 7 mins to come back in the room. Started at 4:15pm and was finished at 4:51. I paid for an extra service of which I don’t even know if it was applied because she never said what she was doing. I felt like a majority of the time I was in there I had a hot towel on my face. It felt like product was applied and then the hot towel was applied and sat for at least a good 2 mins before wiping off the product and applying the next. That was with each product application she did. Overall it was one of the worse facials I’ve ever had. But…. I also had a massage prior to the facial with a different girl and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

I receive monthly massages in Auburn AL and have done so for last 15 years in GA & TX. I booked with Hand and Stone while I was on spring break and it was a rainy day at the beach. I was satisfied with my massage but I prefer privately owned massage spas to avoid shortened massage times and up-sale contracts. I would still recommend Hand & Stone to anyone searching for relaxation and stress release while at the beach. Nice facility with a tranquil atmosphere. Each massage therapist dressed professionally, seemed knowledgeable, and maintained a clean and tranquil experience.

Massage itself was fine. I had to call three times to get a hold of someone to make the appt. I left 2 voicemails with no return call over a period of 4 days. I confirmed my appt and then had a missed call the morning of my 1030 appt. that i missed. Then got a text confirming my appt so I thought thats why they were calling me. Then maybe an hour or less later got another missed called with a voicemail saying i had to reschedule appt. I had made the appt with someone specific and was already half way there. I called back and had to schedule with the only person available that had the same 1030 time. Of course i had babysitter etc all already set up. Just a very frustrating way to start my massage as well as even make my appt. I did mention it to staff the frustrating when i got there and the girl said she'd mention to manager.

I was satisfied with my service. Morgan the aesthetician was gentle on what she was doing. She make sure to ask questions on some of my preferences, which I appreciate. I did not see a visible result, which I know I have to do a couple treatment first to see results. Overall I was happy to do a facial for the first time

I was dissatisfied because the receptionist used different guests information as mine. After I told her she said oh I’m sorry. Then pulled up the correct info and had me sign it.

Reception desk was busy: one on the phone, the other with a customer buying products and scheduling a follow-up appointment. I stood 5 minutes waiting to be acknowledged. Check-in and check-out should be different desks. Manager was onsite and did nothing to improve the process.

I did not enjoy the stem portion mainly. The steam was very thick and made it difficult to breathe.

It was fine. It’s disappointing that they have such tri turnover. When you find a therapist that you are comfortable with. They don’t last very long. That’s frustrating.
