I had an amazing experience at Hand & Stone. I feel like I could have completely my “check-in” paperwork online before my appointment instead of arriving 15-20 minutes before my appointment time. Checkout took longer than expected due to some computer issues, but not something I would not go back because of. The staff was VERY nice and LOVED my facial. I will definitely come back next month.

The staff in reception were complaining about company related issues in front of customers. Reception staff were unprofessional.

Would book another massage with the massage therapist but probably not with the esthetician that did my facial. She spent half the time talking and not much on my facial.

Add on services were way too expensive….$150 in addition to the prepaid monthly service wasn’t worth it for a 50 minute facial. After tip I ended up spending almost $300…. Crazy.

My therapist was great! Before my massage started, the therapist notified that the light in her room was going out and flickering. When I got into the room it was like a strobe light. Would be dark and them flash of bright light. Manager told therapist there wasn’t time between to change it. I asked for a towel to cover my face, which didn’t help much. I mentioned to the manager at the end and she said she would have changed the light but I was already on the table. It ruined the relaxing vibe and I could tell the therapist was annoyed having to work in a room with a flashing light.

Price was too expensive. Intake paperwork was excessive. Left feeling more soreness than when I came in. Didn’t appreciate the sales pitch at the end to sign up for the monthly program and when I said no, I was asked why not.

In the treatment room, the massage therapist explained that the massage would be shortened so that the add-on i scheduled, cold-stone facial massage, could be performed. i think that should have been stated when i booked it, but either way i don't think the service should be conducted that way. if it is an add-on, then time should be added on, not subtracted, from the original service.

No greeting at entry, no exceptional ambience in reception area except for spa music; the therapy sells the service.

I have relocated and I’m unable to use Membership paid for visits also Unable to transfer to gift certificates or other means without continuing $10 per month service charge while memberships on pause until I use up the prepaid visits. I feel this is a immoral way to make money and your system preventing me from receiving pre-paid benefits due to my extenuating circumstances.
