In addition to the full body massage, I asked for foot massage and aromatherapy, I thought that the session would be lengthened because of the extras, but the lady did all that in an hour. I think it was very fast.

I went in for an 1 hr massage and facial yesterday. My massage was scheduled for 4:15pm. The massage therapist came out to get me at 4:15. After the initial chit chat and time to get undressed and subsequent massage, my therapist told me my session was over. I thought that felt quick & when I looked at the clock, it was only 5pm! Re: Facial. After looking at my skin, the aesthetician recommended the collagen facial. I checked out as usual after I tipped both ladies. After I arrived home, I received a call from the front desk, turned out there is an extra $30 charge for the collagen facial. I authorized her to charge the $30 b/c I don't expect to get service for free. However, that was an unpleasant surprise. I should have been informed that collagen facial will cost "X" dollars more and given the info upfront. Similarly, I previously used a combination of my points and monthly one hour massage. I asked the front desk what types of service or add ons I can use to make the most out of my points b/c I don't want to have to pay anything out of pocket. Front desk gal suggested to talk to my therapist & I was charged more than what I expected.

Therapist is friendly and knowledgeable, she applies the appropriate amount of pressure. She tends to breathe very heavily and talk to herself during massage, which makes it awkward.

I was not interested in the products

I requested medium pressure and this was applied to one area. On other areas I received mostly light pressure. It also seemed like not much time was spent massaging each area of my body.

I miss the flavored water

My massage therapist as well as my massage were amazing. The receptionist was very friendly and both of these reasons could bring me back if it were not for the cost. The cost was absolutely outrageous! I have been getting massage to heal pain for years and never in all of those times have I spent more than 125 dollars. I am talking about an excellent massage tip included I spent 125 max. 263.95 is insane especially during covid times with jobs being cut back and the fact that none of us know what policies will come our way with each day. I am beyond sad that I had to pay so much money on a very tight budget. It is an absolute shame. The only thing that will keep me away is the prices. There are many independent massage therapists that charge much less. I really didn't think hand and stone was going to gouge me so I went for it and paid the price.

We will be moving out of state and have been trying to cancel the membership for a while but needed to wait for a manager to be in. We dropped off our cancellation and still got charged for another membership fee - Now we have limited time to use what we were charged for (we have 2 more remaining) and we were disappointed that we could not at least use our membership fees towards products. These are out of pocket costs that we were charged for during covid and now we are concerned that we may have paid for more than we will be able to use. We only wish that is was easier to cancel due to moving or other uncontrollable circumstances. For this reason we would not join again even in another location. The staff and everyone was wonderful. It is the membership fees that continued to be charged on our card after we cancelled that was upsetting and no one even returned our call or email in question of our last charge.

The client next door was extremely loud, it was difficult to relax with the noise. The therapist was kind enough to offer to increase the volume of the music but it was still hard to relax. Overall the experience was great!

I was unaware that Hand & Stone had a member and guest price. I asked for a brochure and looked at it when I was home. I was not informed by the receptionist of the two different prices. I informed the receptionist that I had a knot in my shoulder and that was all I wanted worked on and she never mentioned the 30 minute massage service either. I also let her know that I just had a massage a couple of weeks ago. I had Delano as my Massage Therapists and he did a very good job removing the knot in my shoulder.
