Unfortunately while the facial was "technically" well done, the use of gloves by the esthetician made for a very unpleasant facial. The rubber against my skin was very uncomfortable. She did not notify me she would wear gloves during the entire facial. The massage was also very uncomfortable, in part due to the gloves and in part due to the estheticians limited skill.

My first visit was performed by a male and so for my second visit, I requested a female. However, when I arrived the same person came out and I had to tell them that I had requested a female. This was very uncomfortable. They were able to get me in with a female but it was very awkward and not a good way to start something that was meant to relax me. The staff were great and tried to correct the mistake, and Danielle was wonderful.

Wasn't aware that the Bio freeze used would make me feel the way it did. It became very cold.

My massage therapist was wonderful, I think her name is Jesse. She was incredibly friendly, warm, and understood my needs.

It seems that receptionists are not fully aware which massage therapists don’t do 80 minute massages. I had to reschedule to another date; another Massuse, just annoying to change afterwards. Points not brought up.

I have paid the same amount at other places & got the full 1 hour massage . The total length of the massage at Hand & Stone is only 50 minutes .

The value for the membership is a bit pricey

The session started 10 minutes late, but I wasn't in a hurry, so I didn't mind. There was a used towel on the floor of the massage room, but they probably just missed it because it was next to the table. Sometimes the therapists incorporates hot towels to remove the excess oil from our bodies at the end of the massage, but they didn't this time. I was fine with it, but my boyfriend was uncomfortable with the excess oil on his back and jumped in the shower as soon as we got home. Overall a good experience.

I was sufficiently satisfied with the experience, in no way was I dissatisfied. It was a very relaxing visit, my massage therapist had a very soft and gentle touch, and she really paid attention to the areas she asked me I would like her to work on. She was also very attentive overall and focused on her work.
