Have had nothing but a great experience at Hand and Stone in Durham. Everyone is super nice and accommodating. I have been going to see Tong and he is amazing. My friend from work sees him as well now too.

Sean is a great massage therapist. He is intuitive and able to find the sports that need attention. The front waiting room is pleasant.

The staff was very friendly and helpful when scheduling the appointment as well as when I checked in. My massage therapist did a great job in asking for my needs and assessing my needs once she started.

Samantha is great, she listens to what you want worked on, she's just great, the first time after I had her as my massager, I knew I would continue to come back to her, a friendly face

Tonya is the BEST. I always fall asleep and would love to stay in that room all day....hide out.

I love visiting Hand and Stone, I feel so taken care of and have deeply enjoyed getting to know the staff and estheticians there. I go see Rhema for facials and I cannot recommend her highly enough!!! Aside from being a wonderful human being, Rhema is extremely skilled and provides personalized recommendations for any budget (particularly important on a PhD student stipend). My skin has quite literally never looked better and she always goes above and beyond to help make that happen. Lastly, she isn't "pushy" in any capacity and genuinely wants to help you feel your best. 10/10 would recommend going to see her (and asking her all your skincare-related questions, she is extremely knowledgable!).

I have chronic migraines, so massages, if too intense, can trigger a migraine. But I love deep tissue massages. So I discussed that with Charles who had the perfect idea and it turned out out to be just what I needed. Also, I very much appreciate that there were no scents in the waiting area, in the room or in the oil Charles used because that also is a migraine trigger. Unfortunately for me added scents are EVERYWHERE these days so it was a pleasant surprise. All in all it was the perfect massage experience!
