I felt a little pressured to join the monthly membership and I had to sign that night ior I wouldn’t receive the 40 discount. Also there were no samples to try for skin care products used during the facial.

The service was average. Nothing was above and beyond. Iris is very professional and does a good job with trying to work to combat my oily skin issue. However, there was a little bit of mask still on my forehead and hair line from the facial that I noticed when I got home.

Packages are a bit complicated. Lots of fine print. Kind of a turnoff.

More time could have been spent on the area I had a problem with.

2 appointments booked back to back and neither began on time. The waiting area was not as relaxing or inviting as other Hand and Stone waiting areas I've been in - no additional offerings like tea or fruit water. The receptionists, aesthetician and massage therapist were great though - no complaints there.

During the massage, there was banging and noise from other rooms. The music was loud then soft then loud again. It was highly annoying. Hard to relax.

I wanted to do the microderm abrasion treatment then the woman suggested that a chemical peel would be better for me. At the end of the chemical peel, she let me know that my skin might peel afterwards- I didn't like that. My skin hasn't peeled off a day later, she thought my skin was strong enough to tolerate it but , I wished she informed me of all the possible side effects before starting.

I was a bit unsatisfied with the overall ambiance of the spa as it did not have th luxurious feel that I expect when I visit spas. I think the spa could be updated or redecorated to have a more luxurious, private feel. It did not feel very private and felt more like a salon than a spa. But overall I did enjoy my experience!
