Hand and Stone

I loved my massage and Carla is wonderful. I was not happy with all the charges made to my card that I was not made aware of when checking out.

I did not like the upsell This was not consistent with the coupon I received in the mail I spent more than I anticipated

The massage therapist was late and I was offered no reason. The massage room was so cluttered that I had to put my stuff on top of the laundry basket. I also stood and waited while the therapist prepped things.

Too many calls and text messages confirming appts. Dont need 3 texted and one phone call.

The only thing that could have made my visit better was not wearing a mask while getting a massage but that’s not the companies fault at all. Just would have made my experience better.

Tje contract is cumbersome and not well written or explained. The appointment timing is confusing as to when it starts and ends; it seems like the 50 minutes is not precise and is highly dependent on the timing and preparedness of the receptionist and therapist.

The facial was fine. From my past experience with facials at Massage Envy, there was more massage of the shoulders, neck, and back of neck and shoulders. I would have liked more massage of these areas during the facial.

Wait time and i don't believe reception got my next visit correct.

Feel as if every massage is significantly shorter than 50 minutes unfortunately I do not stop watch the sessions. My fiancé and I received the same service and booked separate rooms because we got tired of paying 22 additional dollars so we could be in the same room. After the massage we discussed our experiences and came to find out that the additional package that we had used for the upgrade to hot stone with CBD oil was in fact not the same, my therapist periodically wiped the oils off which renders a better half of it useless to me and beneficial for the hot towel. Overall I am tired of being charged for packages then having to pay out of pocket, plus a tip in the end my visit for my fiancé and myself was somewhere around $307.02 for an under 50 minute massage. At that rate I know there's other options but because the system that you have in play I have to use my packages before cancelling or you'll just take all of my money and deem me nothing. Overall I regret ever signing up for Hand & Stone and will never ever recommend it to someone who doesn't want to waste their time and money.

I was supposed to have a facial after my massage. I booked it along with my massage. I was sitting in a room waiting gif facial for over 5 minutes, when finally my massage therapist came back and asked if I was sure I had a facial because they didn’t have me done for one. I told her then someone messed up because I booked both. Then checking out the receptionist didn’t even address the issue, I had to bring it up to her. The response was I’m sorry for that but it did not seem genuine. I had a foot scrub treatment for my massage which I feel should have at least been compted for.
