I prefer the services I received at the Hamilton, NJ location.

Online the options indicate 1 hour or 1 hour 30 minute massage, when in actuality 10 minutes are deducted for a “consultation.” I told my therapist at my appointment yesterday that my shoulders really needed it, but he barely touched them (other therapists I had in the past did as I told them). Lastly, I requested Chris each time I’ve made an appointment online and I’ve yet to have him as my therapist.

The music was completely either off or too high in the room. Also, no place to place your clothes in the rooms at this location.

All went well

The Hand And Stone in Bordentown needs a place to put clothing in the massage room (chair, small table,etc). The trash can should be next to the water in the waiting area. When waiting to check in you might want to consider a quicker option if you only have one person working the desk. The massage therapist was okay but I would not book with him again, his pressure was uneven, the way he tucked in sheets was uncomfortable, and his massage was not as relaxing as I had hoped although it did help relieve back pain.

I booked an 80 Minute Massage. I don’t think the therapist knew that. We started at 5:00pm and ended at 6:05pm. That’s more than a 50 minute massage, but less than an 80 minute massage. So, I paid for the 80 Minute Massage, but feel that I wasted my money. I’m still owed 15 more minutes.

Too much up selling in reception

It was pretty warm in the room. I also wish the music continued to play throughout the session. Lastly, there should be some sort of relaxing scent to chose from if wanted that does not cost an additional fee. It should 100% be included as it is common sense a relaxing scent helps you be more comfortable and enhance the experience. Not the case with Hand & Stone but for other spa's it is! The massage therapist however, was amazing and made me feel comfortable and relaxed.

Some of my answers were base on my feelings since it was my first time. But overall everything and everyone were very nice.
