When scheduling the appointment, I explained my specific needs and requested a therapist who would suit me and she did great with her choice. The therapist herself was excellent, so much so that I joined and scheduled a 90 minute massage in 3 weeks.

I came in for a massage to relieve lower back pain and overall muscle tension. Immediately after the massage my pain was gone and my muscles were relaxed. I plan on making this a once a month visit with Jean.

My appointment started on time. There was no “selling” of products (I buy the products I like to use when I need to purchase them, but she didn’t know that.) She performed a massage during the mask (not all of the estheticians there do - they sit or something). And, there was not an excessive up-selling of services. Once, an esthetician there tried to sell me three different upgrades to use at the same time. Additionally, she did not talk excessively so I could enjoy my relaxation time. Finally, I got the Dermalogica facial I always want. Another esthetician there continually insisted I use the Clarity facial which I can’t stand. I got tired of being ignored and getting a service I didn’t want so I switched estheticians. Much better.

Great first experience at hand and stone. I even booked the monthly membership. Everyone was extremely nice and area was clean
