Hand and Stone

Despite me being content with the massage that I received, I've had better massages to compare this experience to. I'm saving my 'highly satisfied' rating for when that experience is topped.

I've been a member for a few months and had multiple massage therapist with a hot stone massage. This particular therapist I believe her name was gurleen felt very mechanical did not spend any time on my feet or my hands and dug her thumbs into my arms so bad that the next day I have bruising. It is now Monday I have the massage on Saturday and I am still very sore in both my arms

The massage was scheduled for 60 minutes. It only lasted 50 minutes.

I was almost charged for a service that I was not aware of : I thought that essential oils is something that is used . I didn’t know it was a separate charge .

The membership was not clearly explained. I ended up having to pay for the service because my money withdraw date was 10 tens away. I assumed I could make an appointment in any part of the month as the monthly fee...is simply a monthly fee.

I’ve never had a facial before and should have been given a description of what she was doing beforehand. The facial extraction was unexpected and painful. I don’t like surprises and I should have asked her to tell me her actions.

I bought additional items and then missed the normal neck/ shoulder massage that comes with basic facial.

Massage rooms could have been warmer.

She could have been more friendly, I didn't feel a warm and welcome feeling but she did a good job and made my face feel and look great.

My massage therapist was very friendly... I just felt like the pressure applied, at times, was more rough than relaxing. As well, I have had massages before — and before the pandemic, and I just found it very difficult to breathe [easy] and relax, simultaneously, while my head was face down in the face cushion, especially when the pressure applied seemed a bit much. I just, I didn’t feel like I was totally relaxed once I left. I will return, though, as I do just like massages and my life is very stressful...
