Staff employee had a good knowledge about the seed content of the different bags. Check out was fast and efficient. Being age in the mid 80s carrying the bags to our car was appreciated. Young employee was both friendly and courteous.

It has everything I was looking for - a very nice store

Any time I have a question or concern I have gotten excellent advice from staff at this store, and they have gone above and beyond in response to my queries on numerous occasions. Most recently I spoke in-store with Jennifer about hummingbirds versus orioles and ended up chatting about the bracelets with the interactive tracking of endangered species — it was so interesting I ended up buying a giraffe-tracking bracelet as well as the hummingbird nectar I had planned to pick up! All of the staff are exceedingly friendly and helpful…if only they could teach other retail outlets how to interact with customers! There’s a reason why people are loyal to the WBU brand and specifically to the Bank Street store in south Ottawa…they do an awesome job and have turned me (and in fact our whole family) into citizens concerned about the health of the wild bird population in our region. We’ve purchased numerous feeders and accessories that have become key parts of our property, with many wild birds amusing us on a daily basis, as well as our cat, Mr Tuna Sandwich, a Russian Blue who sits for hours at the window being entertained by our feathered friends (at a safe distance). The staff at this location are very friendly and knowledgeable. I had no idea how to attract orioles but the sales associate was able to show me exactly what I needed. I enjoy shopping at that location. You’re always made to feel welcomed.
