My comment is about this and all my many visits to wild birds. The products are a bit pricey and the quality of the seed that I buy regularly is not as clean as it could be. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, but sometimes they do not seem to know a lot about the birds that are regular to our location in Wisconsin. If I worked there, I would spend time reading -- especially since the resources are for sale in the store.

It seemed like the clerk was distracted by texts or phones and could have spent more time telling me about the options.

It was Black Friday and I came because of the email that I received and because I needed some bird seed and wanted to get my 2024 calendar. The store was not busy, but the staff was --- having their own little jam session in front of the register. Finally one of them saw me and waited on me while the others just kept talking. Also, I bought a cylinder of bird seed to put in the holder that I was given to me when I renewed my membership. That does'nt fit.

My husband and I stopped in the store to look for a pole that would hold our bird feeder. The clerk picked out various sections for the pole system that might work for us. While my husband was trying to price each piece out to see what the total cost would be, I noticed a boxed pole set. When we asked her about the difference, she seemed bothered that we found that. The boxed set ended up being about $10 cheaper than the pieces she picked out. She did not listen to our wants from the start and was not over friendly about our find.

I wanted to use a coupon that I saw online and was told it was not for the Brookfield store. Also, one of the items I purchased is damaged. I will need to return it. Also, your merchandise is over priced.

Two employees in store, one at checkout observing mask policy. The other walked out of back without mask on, stood at other cash register talking on phone, then started walking through store without any consideration for us. We complained to employee at cash register, no apology was given, nor any attempt to rectify situation with the other employee. I know this is a highly sensitive topic, but the large sign on the entrance indicates no customers are to enter store without a mask, yet the employees are flaunting the policy, showing no concerns with the situation. Yes, we are probably a bit more sensitive than others, both of my wife's parents are currently fighting covid, one currently in the hospital (the other just got out). WBU sells a premium product, at a premium price, and I expect a premium experience. We walked out with over $100 in bird seed. This is the second time we have an issue at this location with an employee flaunting the corporate policy. We will be shopping elsewhere going forward. During the last year we have made an effort to support the locally owned businesses, we can no longer support a location with such little concern for us or your own policies.

I had purchased the ready-to-use humming bird food in the past, but it was no longer available. I did not want to purchase a large supply since it is the end of the season. Your staff recommended another product that is working well.

Ordering on line is a horrible experience. Why you can't get the extra 5% or use coupons is never answered with consistency. You should never make ordering a difficulty for customers. Telling me reasons such as being concerned people will buy too much (like how is that a problem?) or that it's a franchise issue and then offering to do it over the phone contradict each other. People order online because they don't have time for phone orders. When I can find another source I'll be ordering or buying from them as the frustration level with this store is too annoying.
