Great store, friendly people. The prices are always high at Wild Birds. While the quality of the products is good, I don't think it warrants the prices

The checker put the 20 lb bag of sunflower chips in my car for me which was certainly very nice. The bag had a small hole at the bottom of the bag and I didn't notice it until I got home and saw the mound of chips on the floor of my car. A 10 lb bag of nyger thistle had a dent at the bottom of the bag that was only slightly less than being a hole too. I was annoyed by the hole in the bag of sunflower chips but didn't want to go back to the store to return it. I wish the staff had taken more notice of the condition of the merchandise.

I look forward to seeing new hardware that has come out and gifts in the store. This store is Almost devoid of gifts and only had the basic parts for a pole system. Even less gifts and hardware than Mary carried.

The cost is getting so expensive that we are having to ration the food. We are on a set retired income. We are longtime shoppers at this store.

The staff seemed much less informed about common problems, such as raccoons eating the bird suet, i.e. less informed that the people at the Santa Fe store. All I could get from them regarding raccoons was agreement that raccoons are a problem. The solutions include trapping the raccoons and moving them to a different location, and using piano wire to suspend the suet, and using red pepper on the suet. I appreciate a store sales person who will take time to talk about your problem

I reported that for my last purchase, the suet I purchased appeared to either be old or rancid. The person assisting me wasn't sure why or what might have caused it, nor seemed too interested in the issue.

Don’t agree with masks- I have health issues- wear one over my mouth, but can’t keep nose covered. Was advised to stay out of the store and just have items loaded into my car. Have y’all not seen the medical studies advising against masks? Tried to be considerate by wearing a mask at all at least over mouth. Might as well just order online elsewhere. You guys always were kinda pricey, but try to support local business. Also, paid too much for a hummingbird window feeder- last one worked fine— new one just won’t stick to window- will return in store in person for a refund. Sorry to cross y’all off my list- I think nm is overkill on Covid rules- sorry to see local businesses perpetuate the fear. Sadness
