Always new and interesting products in stock that compliment the items I already want or have. I usually bring my children with me and the staff interact with them and educate them on the all thing nature. They also always help carry bags to my car which is much appreciated!

I thoroughly enjoy the free information classes about our local wildlife. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Unlike box stores, one does not have to hunt for someone to assist with product or knowledge. For nature lovers, there are many items that make great gifts. I also like the fact that they are expanding into other areas such as bees. I prefer shopping at local stores as it supports our community. Great Job!

What a wonderful resource to have in our neighborhood! I look forward to my visit each time I run out of birdseed. I get to speak with either Rich or Pete who are ALWAYS pleasant, interested in my questions and eager to share their vast knowledge. I often leave the store with something new that was recommended and I have yet to be disappointed! The most recent presentation on bees was fascinating and I appreciate the diversity of topics that are offered and I've brought my husband, my daughter and a friend to each - they appeal to every age! On an aside, I forgot my bag of birdseed in the store and Pete delivered it personally..talk about above and beyond! Keep up the great work guys - you have really turned the place around!

People who work in the store are very knowledgable and really love what they do. They were always ablate answer all of my questions.

We’ve been going to the WBU in Scotch Plains for a few years as it is near our son & daughter-in-law who live in Rahway. The one near us in Randolph closed a few years ago. We’ve always had a good experience at WBU especially since Richard took over in Scotch Plains and updated the store. He has been most helpful in fixing our two Eliminator feeders.
