New hire salesperson, Mark, wore a badge that said he was a bird seed specialist. So I asked questions. Since I was the only person in the store, I had his full attention. When another person entered the store a blond, who acted like the manager, sent Mark to wait on the new customer. The new customer didn't want help, didn't need anything, and when Mark was walking away, I caught him to finish answering the question I had asked when Blondie interrupted. Blondie sent Mark to the back room and I never saw him again. What? He isn't supposed to talk to customers??? Blondie hid behind the till and was too busy to answer my still-unanswered-question. More customers arrived, and Blondie rang them all up before finishing my checkout, which Mark had partially started. Apparently regular customers, and/or current members, are less important than new walk-ins. I will NOT RENEW my membership when it comes up in a few months since non members are obviously more valued at this store.

I don't shop at your store because you require masks. The only reason I came in was to use the coupon. I will continue to shop at the bird feed store in Wayzata or elsewhere because I'm not told to put on a mask when I enter.

The experience at this store vs the Eden Prairie store is like night and day. The staff in Minnetonka argued with me about needing larger plastic end covers for the pole systems, I was willing to purchase them if needed. My arms for the pole systems were not staying secure at the pole. They didn't want to give me what was required for the 6 systems that we have purchased. I needed 10 total plastic pieces and the staff were concerned that I was requesting more than what I needed and they were difficult to get, according to them. Also this nice elderly woman had a full face covering plastic shield on and they literally shoved her out the door and were screaming at her because it wasn't a cloth mask tightly covering her mouth. She explained that she needs to wear this type for medical reasons. The staff handled this very aggressively. It was totally uncalled for. The male staff person that was there last week when we stopped, was completely out of line. The staff at Eden Prairie does not behave this way. They are always professional, helpful and polite. I will be going the extra distance to that store from now on.

That was a mistake, I read too fast. I was unhappy to get the3re and find the store closed because new flooring was being installed but I was highly satisfied that someone noticed my disappointment and opened the store for me. I new what I wanted so it was not necessary for me to "shop". With temperatures around 100 degrees and gas $4 plus a gallon I was appreciative that I didn't waste a trip to the store.

I've never had a bad experience at a WBU store. I'm a huge birder and photographer of birds, and to know that when you walk into a store, the people that work there are knowledgeable and have the same interest in birds as you do, it's a no-brainer.

1. Having to wait outside while the store had two customers in the store is ridiculous. The customer in front of me, while waiting outside, was forced to have an employee, Chip, go back and forth several times to find the right item and finally let him into the store to shop.
