I was a walk-in and was made welcome and treated so well right away. I had a question about a former purchase of a bluebird box and she answered it and demonstrated how it opens.

It is just a really nice place -- the people there know their stuff and they don't push unwanted stuff on us.

Knowledgeable friendly helpful staff and owners. They care and they know so much. Glad to have a reputable store nearby devoted to the care and feeding of the large variety of birds in our urban/suburban area in the Baltimore area.

I’m fine with everything

Most of the merchandise is wildly overpriced - sometimes ridiculously so. There are three other sources of bird seed etc. (Ace Hardware, Home Depot and Valley Naturalist) within a three-mile radius with more reasonable prices for virtually the same bags of seed and feeders. I know you're part of a franchise operation, but you'd better make sure the "powers-that-be" are aware of the competition.

For two reasons: (1) the price of bird seed - which is what I bought - seems very high. But I like feeding the birds so I bought it. (2) they don't carry any low-priced suet that is sold in loose plastic. Using the hard plastic containers to fill a suet feeder is a messy job. The loose plastic ones can be easily cut and the whole package put in the feeder and the remaining plastic removed - no need to touch the suet itself. But this store is quite convenient and the staff are always nice.

I purchased a solid roll of birdseed and now no birds come! I had to put my regular bird feeder out again.

prices on bird seed have gotten beyond reasonable. Feeding birds is not a necessity during these bad economic times

Highly satisfied isn't a term I use readily. I was satisficed. Highly Satisfied was nearly obtained.
