I only started feeding birds on my patio about a year ago, at first it was only 1 or 2 crows who would come and eat, and then we found some wrens would be eating some of the food, then a chickadee and a junco. Pretty soon we had about 10 to 15 birds, so i started putting out two containers and of course, more purchases of food. The staff were very helpful in helping with what type of food to purchase. a couple of days ago, some finches started coming. but it got a little crazy, with about 40 birds, so we cut out so many containers of food. And yesterday, I actually had to shoo some away cause of fighting, but today they were behaving and eating together, with not as many. We have 4 chickadees now and two junco's, and about 10 wrens, and about 10 finches came by today. That many we can handle because neighbors will start making noises, even though we have totally enclosed patios, so no mess can get onto other patios. But we don't want strata trying to stop the birds being fed.

Lots of items to look at and a great selection of bird food. Some very interesting and informative books and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

The staff is very knowledgeable and can answer any questions that I have. They recommend items that might solve problems but don't do a hard sell.
