I appreciate the knowledge of birds. I'm learning more about feeding the birds in my yard every time I visit the store.

Have visited this store numerous times in the past year - have learned quite a few things while talking with the owners - would highly recommend to anyone! Beautiful store!!

The bird seed prices seem to be on the high side.

They were out of the size and type of bird seed I usually purchase. The alternative suggested by the staff was satisfactory.

Prices are high. Great store for the novice to bird feeding from the valley who may not care about cost. I've been bird feeding since 1971 and know there are more cost effective venues for bird food & supplies. That being said, Wild Birds Unlimited is a great all in one birding supply store.

While the selection of feeders and food are nice, the prices are extremely high. The feeders are still made in China, so it's not even a case of me being able to rationalize the higher price because American jobs are being supported. Good quality bird food, with high fat and protein content can be found elsewhere for significantly lower cost. The goal of feeding birds for me, first and foremost, is to provide food during the winter to increase their chances of survival. As we know, obtaining food in the winter is much more difficult for the birds, which leads to a higher mortality rate. (As a side note, I rarely fed in the late spring through fall due to a combination of several black bears being active and the fact their natural food is available this time of year). I enjoy watching the birds and attracting a wide array of them comes hand-in-hand with my stated goal of providing them sustenance throughout the winter. However, it is apparent the goal of your company, first and foremost, is to appeal to humans. Obviously there is a market for this based on the humber of locations you have. But, birds only need nutritious food and a safe place to consume it.
