It’s really the only place one can learn about the birds in my area. The staff has always been a joy to engage with. They seem knowledgeable and willing to help.

I had a question about a bird which I heard while on a hike, but could not spot in the foliage. I was able to record the song of it, but even with the Merlin app, I could not figure it out. Frank listened to it and gave me a reasonable answer to which bird it might have been. Having this sort of help is really nice :-)

The owner, Frank is amazingly knowledgable and freely shares his wisdom! All the folks he has working there are very polite and professional as well. Plus, the hours are fantastic!
