I've never met an employee at this store who's evidenced a bad mood or otherwise been anything short of very pleasant and helpful. While the product is a little pricey, taking advantage of sales is helpful. The heated birdbath has been awesome in the winter, always providing open water for birds even at subzero (F) temperatures -- I'd never seen eastern bluebirds in our yard before we set that out last winter!

We love everyone who works there and we all talk to each other like we are old friends which I guess we are considering we've been going there for more than15 years, and we feel welcome as soon as we walk in the door.

I haven't been in to the WBU shop for about 10 years. I have had a rather slim wallet and have been unable to buy more than basic necessary gifts for people. This year, I really wanted to get my dad something special and knows how much he enjoys bird watching out of his kitchen window. So, I went in to WBU with an open mind. I saw the display of the heated birdbath and thought it would be perfect for him. It was a little pricey, so Julie helped me choose one that fit my budget and helped me keep my purchase right under $100. I appreciated the help and advice she gave as this is not my field of expertise. Now that more of our kids are grown, I hope to have bit more spare change in my pocket to indulge my own interests. I'll definitely be back because I really enjoyed the variety of items in your store - even for those who know nothing about birds! I also liked that there were unique gift items. I avoid big box stores and the evil empire of Amazon; I always try to shop local whenever possible. Thanks for the help, WBU!
