Love this store. Pam, Ed and all of their staff are friendly and knowledgeable and it is always fun to be greeted by Izzy (their dog) when we arrive.

The couple running this store are knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. I count on them to advise me best on what to buy in order to get the birds I want.

Small error in the order that I didn't notice till after. Instead of shelled corned, I was provided cracked corn. Didn't realize till I got home, but didn't inform the store. Not a big deal as I use cracked corn as well and pricing is similar.

WBU feed products are outstanding. However, they are also quite expensive. Here in Michigan we have a local producer of bird feeding products who offers better value for the money. As a senior on a fixed income I need to weigh spending the same amount for a 28 pound bag of the “Brand X” no waste seed mixture that I would spend for a 20 pound bag of WBU’s LM No Waste mixture. Getting that price for the WBU seed also requires a $25 annual membership. As our migratory birds start returning I can easily go through a 20 pound bag of feed and a 20 pound bag of shelled peanuts in a week. While my $25 annual WBU membership does earn me “Bird Bucks” on purchases I receive a free bag of the “Brand X” product for every ten bags I buy. So that works out to be a wash. The people at my local WBU store are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I have a WBU pole system, and a WBU cylinder feeder, squirrel guard, and weather cap for my setup. I would really like to use more WBU seed, but need some less expensive no mess options. Thank you!

I wish the seed blends were less expensive

I just can't afford to feed my birds solely.from Wild Birds. I have to supplement with some lower quality food, and always utilize coupons and sales when available.

I had heard bird flu is going around again and DNR is recommending against feeding for the moment, that would have been good to know.
