I love visiting and talking to the knowledgeable team members. But what I enjoy most is how the store changes from season to season. There is always something new to look at, buy or put on my wishlist for next time I visit. Another thing that I enjoy is the monthly learning sessions where the store will bring in experts and I am able to talk to others that have a similar interest in birds and nature. The owner is an amazing person that is easy to talk with and always answers my questions about what type of seeds I need to attract the birds I want in my backyard. The team members always greet me by name and take a genuine interest in helping everyone in the store.

Everyone is so nice, friendly, and helpful. The store is always neat and clean and everything nicely displayed. Things don't get moved around too much so I can come right in and get what I want before browsing the rest of the store.

Sales clerks were very helpful with the item I was interested in. Went above and beyond to bring out merchandise from past seasons! Very personable staff!

Staff is always welcoming, ready to help and super friendly. They are willing to order things if they do not have it in stock at the time of my visit. The quality of the items is always top notch. Thank you to Birdie and her staff for providing a needed resource to our community!

I have been visiting this store since it opened a little over a year ago. In all my visits, I have never left feeling frustrated -- in fact, even if I don't make a purchase, the staff and the owner always leave me feeling happy, special, encouraged and especially wanted. The store takes pride in getting to know its customers, and is never pushy about purchasing feed or merchandise. In addition, they are great for McKinney residents and their children as they hold free seminars on birding. They also contribute to the non-profit local raptor rehabilitation center by collecting donations and hiring the Center to bring their education birds for the public to enjoy. I count on the owner's and employees' knowledge of the local birds in choosing my products and feed, and I have never been steered wrong. If your company could clone the layout and decorations of this store, along with the owner and her employees, I think you would have one of the most successful businesses in the USA. I am relatively new to the area and the knowledge of what birds I might see, and when, has been very uplifting. The staff could not be more welcoming and friendly. It is a pleasure to visit there.
