First time in the store

I currently am having difficulty allocating monies to bird food. It is a luxury I am not able to enjoy as frequently as before.

That offer very desirable products but you pay a premium to get them. I am currently looking for an online alternative. Just received my first bag of no mess feed through amazon prime just yesterday.

I continue to purchase my bird seed at Wild Birds Unlimited because I like the ease of the No-Mess cylinders. However, I feel that I am paying a premium for this product but no other retailer carries this type of product.

Jamie was great! Smiling, helpful. He didn’t know the answer to my question so referred to gal sitting in the back room. Her answer to why birds weren’t coming to my Nyjer feeders was because the seed was old and my feeders were dirty. She repeated herself three times. I’m neither deaf nor slow. She never got up from fluffing the stuff in her box. There were three other parties in the store. She didn’t come out to help them or Jamie. Incidentally, same seed, same feeders and they are now half empty in three days. Been feeding birds for 35 yrs. Just sayin’.

Overpriced.

the delivery was greatly delayed. I placed my order on Feb 13th for bird food and received an email stating that it was shipped on the same day, but it was not delivered until yesterday, Feb 16th. The last 2 times, they were delivered the next day, so that was what I had expected. It is a FEDEX problem because it went from Brighton to Saline, MI, then to Perrysburg, OH, then to Saginaw, MI, then delivered to me.

There seems to be a disconnect between the online offerings and what I pick up in the store when there is a buy something bet something free. I never seem to get the free item when ordering online for in store pickup.

I did not say I was dissatisfied!
