Had to wait for a certain machine. Felt like I was being upsold on services and products. Felt pressured to join monthly membership.

Feels like a friendly place in the neighborhood where they know your name. I appreciate that. And I love my esthetician and the staff are always friendly and quick.

“ Good clean ambience , average service but high price for a Hand & Stone location in Missouri city ( the suburb area of Houston in Sugarland). I had been a member at other salons like Massage Heights , Elements etc . Recently moved to my home & H&S store was nearby to my home . This was my first massage at this location .. and I read many reviews and opted for the lead therapist “Jacqueline” for my appt . But it’s was average , relaxing , good … not Wow !!! Also price for a one month membership at a competitor ( same standards ) is $65 .. where as H&S is $79 . But note … that only includes basic Swedish Massage . If u opt for Deep Tissue Massage ; ( it is a very normal massage type for athletes/ anyone with muscle pain , it comes at an additional $10 cost .. bringing it to per month at $89 . For a suburban massage store , this is $20 more than others … not sure if it’s worth it ??

The receptionist is not good at listening nor at taking care of customers. I mentioned I missed the one- hour before text reminder and her response immediate response was to defend herself. Then I wanted to schedule an appointment for July and she didn’t want to. Argued she didn’t have the therapist schedule and when she finally accepted she argued the time I was requesting wasn’t available???

Not masked when given the option.

Rising cost especially just to heat up stones is ridiculous. I don’t mind paying more for the person’s skill however I don’t believe you’re charging fairly for the add-ons

Mobile site for booking did not work. Tried multiple times-had to use desk top. Front area a bit chaotic and sort of stressful. Clearly being pushed into sales at multiple points during visit but it’s a good deal and my massage eased my pain so I will be back.

The receptionist charged my card even though I gave gift card info over the phone when I set up the appointment. I still haven’t received my refund yet. It was definitely quick to come out of my account but you’re not quick on returning it if I have any bank charges hand and stone should be responsible.

Close to the end of the massage, there was someone on the adjacent rooms talking loudly and non-stop. Even tough the therapist had music at an appropriate level the chatting was annoying.
