During the facial, the esthetician’s mask feel down and I could feel her breathing on me. During these times, I simply could not relax and enjoy the rest of my services. Also, it took 15-20mins to check out because there was only one register and the receptionist were having issues applying the customer’s coupon in front of me which resulted in the wait. At least 2 registers should be available.

The description lead me to believe the massage was 50 minutes long and then my add-ons. As it turned out it was not. That made the massage 35 mins and the foot scrub was 15 minutes. I thought the eucalyptus aroma was a diffuser, it was the therapist rubbing it on her hands and waving it under my nose. I’ve had a few other appointments here but this was a waste of my time and money. This was like being ripped off. When I called to verify the process was done correctly, I was told “yep that is how we do it”

I felt that the sign-in method (ipad) was not very effective. When I finally finished the sign-in process, it was 8 minutes into my massage time allotment and I arrived early to sign-in. So, I was only able to have a 40 minute massage for my first visit.

I don't feel comfortable noting that here. I resolved the problem encountered at the desk. Overall, it just wasn't the best visit for several reasons.

Despite of membership fee, the cost is on the higher side for 50 minutes.

Kevin was great but Dana was who I originally scheduled with. She just has a better touch when it comes to deep tissue massage. I was scheduled with her for a previous massage and no one called to canceled when she could not make it in. I was rescheduled on that date for the following week with Dana, and again didn’t find out she would not be in until hours before.

The shoulder waxing was not completed to my liking; some areas on the shoulder were missed.

I haven’t seen the results that I was hoping for. It was a bit pricey for what I received. Otherwise, everything else was well and the staff were wonderful.

I did not understand that I was paying for an upgrade facial at this first appointment. I thought it was a suggestion for future facials. I did not clarify the upgrade, I should have been clear that I was not interested in it for my first facial. I also have not received my paperwork for my membership, since the printer was not working,it still needs to be emailed to me. Overall, I am happy to have joined hand and stone!
