Hand and Stone

This was my first time going to this new location though I have a membership at a different H & S location. The therapist was nice and friendly and chatted with me about the type of massage I was seeking. It took most of the 50 minutes for her to figure out how much pressure I liked, and by then the massage was over. I always get an 80 minute massage with the same massage therapist at the H & S spa where I usually go, and she is much more experienced. I am asthmatic, and there was some kind of spa scent in the air of the entire spa (lobby, hall, bathroom, massage room) that was affecting my breathing, also making it difficult to enjoy the massage. I have always thought the price of 50 & 80 minute massages border on being overpriced and that the massages should be 60 & 90 minutes.

Our appointment was rescheduled once. My esthetician took too long to wax and when I got home I noticed she missed a spot. I reall enjoyed my facial. She just doesn’t have a lot of experience. I don’t hold that against her.

My esthetician’s hands smelled like she was a smoker. Her hands smelled during my facial which wasn’t pleasant. Other than that she did a wonderful job and was very friendly. I just would prefer to not have an esthetician who smokes...

No one reason in particular, but it just seems that this location needs to get more practice. Everyone seemed to be walking on eggshells-- didn't feel relaxed. In addition, there needs to be a mirror in the individual rooms and a towel robe. I would also like to have water without infusions and a way to accept gift cards.

The massage therapist Rebecca was great! The massage was awesome. However, I wouldnt be able to return if I had to pay $99.00 for a massage. I get mssages ona regular basis and never have I paid $100.00. I hope you guys stay in business but the competition may beat you out with those prices.

The receptionist didnt have very good knowledge of the membership program. COuldnt answer all my questions and after reading through my info when I got home many of the answers were incorrect.

This visit was for a first time facial. I appreciated the atmosphere and the time to slow down and relax, however I didn’t feel that the price is appropriate for the treatment. However Lauren was amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable!

While I loved my facial and Meg was so kind and gave a great facial, you could tell it was the first day the spa was open. Timing was off, I started late and my appointment was 90 min instead of 60. Also, the staff didn’t seem super knowledgeable on the products or processes. I enjoyed my visit, just a few kinks to work out. Meg was wonderful!
