Hand and Stone

Services I booked for were not relayed to massage therapist. When I asked about specific add ons I wanted and scheduled for, she said she didn’t have enough time. She didn’t massage my hands of feet. Massage didn’t feel thorough.

The receptionist seemed a little distracted, but overall that part was okay. I was dissatisfied (and have sent a message to the manager) about other customers using cell phones in the waiting area prior to my massage. It should be a time to unwind, not have to listen to other people chatter away. I think the waiting area should be a cell phone-free zone.

The therapist wasn’t friendly or welcoming. She appeared to not even want to be there. Everything else was fine.

I was satisfied.

I did not feel as is my massage was a true sports massage. The technique used felt pretty basic and not as advanced as other sports massages I've had at Hand & Stone.

I was very satisfied. The only reason I wasn’t highly satisfied is I should have selected a deep tissue massage, so I still had tightness. This wasn’t the therapist’s fault as she suggested it.

The therapist I was assigned to the last two times did not address my specific needs. The pressure was way too light even tho I asked for firm pressure several times. When I find a therapist who does meet my needs, they are rarely available or leave. And availability is sparce. Sometimes there are evening or weekend appts available within a weeks notice, but most of the time there is not.

Massage therapist are hit and miss and the rooms aren’t very calming. It’s hard to relax. Lights don’t get turned low enough, the music is too low. It’s like I know I’m just in a room and unable to relax.

The massage started at 4:07pm and ended at 4:53pm. It was a 60 min massage, started late and ended early.
