With no offense to employees the only reason why I didn't rate highly satisfied is because I'm more use to massage therapist who's been well experienced for so many years. Devin who is new and was my MT at my last session was "Awesome." Thank you very much for all your great hand work of massages and who knows as I may end up becoming a member again.

Frankly it would take a lot to get me to respond "Highly Satisfied". That implies an above-and-beyond experience and without getting something for free, "Satisfied" pretty much covers it.

The therapist I had was verbally awkward, nervous maybe? When I asked him to focus on upper body her got very awkward and basically said that’s not what he does. In the end, massage was good and we agreed he could do what he is use to doing “historically” as he put it. He was very nice just awkward -please find a way to give him constructive criticism and not read this message to him. I don’t want his feeling hurt, everyone is different.

My appointment was running behind. They told me I would get a full hour but I got a 45 minute massage. However, my therapist was apologetic and offered a hot stone massage

This was my second massage at this location; the first being fantastic and the second definitely less so. I just felt that the therapist (Alexander) did not give me a full massage, rather focused only on my shoulder and neck. I believe he did what he thought was best, relieving my knots, but I expressed I came in to have a relaxing massage - not to only receive pressure in two areas. Additionally, for a one hour massage, I expect to get a full body massage. He seemed a little uncomfortable and did not massage me above my knees or on my lower back, and did not spend much time on my arms or legs. Again - I think he thought applying pressure (elongated pokes is the best way I know how to describe it) on my knots would be best for me - but after a really stressful week all I wanted was a nice relaxing massage.

I have had two massage appointments at hand and stone, both of which were with Alexa and the actual massage was great. However, neither appointment lasted the entire 60 minutes. Both ended 50 minutes in. Alexa seemed very rushed on both occasions, as if she had another appointment scheduled just before and immediately after mine. During the second massage Alexa was a little sloppier with transitions, which was not relaxing. But like I said the actual massage was great. I do wish the beds were heated and the oil had a nicer scent. The last thing I’d like to comment on is the waiting area. It is SO bright. I requested to wait in the transition space because it is much more relaxing.

The atmosphere of the Redmond location is really nice and relaxing. The membership prices are good so even though I live in Snoqualmie and the Redmond location is pretty far for me I thought I would give it a try. I did not enjoy my first massage there but figured I could try a few more people. For my first massage I got a free upgrade to get aromatherapy (from the art walk) and they said they would add it but they didn't. I mentioned to the front desk girl that they forgot and she said they would add it next time so no big deal. This next time the massage therapist was confused on what it was and made it seem like it was too hard so I just said don't worry about it. I also wish you were open a little bit later on the weekdays.

The billing system was a little complicated, so I had to manually request the available discounts. Also, the products for sale are mostly facial, and I don't understand how they are related to a body massage.

During the massage there was construction being done next door or above. This made it really hard to relax with hammers and saws going on. I know it was not HandS fault but it was still a problem.
