Hand and Stone

I think the products changed from the last facial I got. I didn't have a reaction last time. My face is tender and peeling. It didn't peel last time or hurt.

Took too long for someone to answer the phones. I had to call multiple times. They also didn’t book an appointment that I thought I had booked

Communication between receptionist and therapist about most needed areas to focus on that was mentioned while making appointment.

Rather I get a massage or a facial, I always leave satisfied and very relaxed. My needs are always addressed and fulfilled. Kimberly was very kind and professional.

Just visiting area so won’t return. Appointment started 10 min late. No one said anything about it. Massage therapist was new to the field but did very good for limited experience.

The room was cold, and the massage could have been more kneading instead of arm smoothing.

Previously had appt and received emails and text messages confirming and when arrived I was not on schedule - “ due to computer issues “ so this was a makeup appt

There was nothing really wrong with Hands and Stone. I am a bit biased because I typically visit high end spas. However, the receptionist and the massage therapist were fantastic. Shayla who checked me in was very personable. Jamey was a pleasure to talk with as we were performing the service. I only knocked the service as being less than satisfied on the question of relaxation was because I asked for a deep tissue massage and had some big knots in my shoulders. Jamey did a great job trying to work them out but the massage was not relaxing because of the service I asked for, nothing to do with her treatment. If I asked for a Swedish or traditional massage, I have no doubt in my mind that it would have been fantastic!

I will not return due to living out of state. If I return in my next trip I will try a different massage therapist. My therapist had a flat affect and gave little feedback about my tension points. Her massage techniques were adequate. I would suggest to others but would suggest a different therapist.
