la Madeleine

The first thing that I noticed was the ambiance of the cafe, with plenty of natural light and rustic decor. I was promptly greeted by a friendly employee. I liked the selection of the menu.

I have been wanting to try La Madeleine, and was excited that the ladies from my church were meeting there. The conference room had plenty of space, and the food was quick and good. The croque monsieur was good, although not as good as the ones I've eaten in France. I was hoping for something a little more authentic but, then, I haven't eaten every croque monsieur variation in France, so perhaps it was more similar to the croque monsieur in a different region. I loved the French lessons in the restroom. I also loved that there was a bread bar, and the two fruit spreads were awesome. I will probably go back with my husband for my birthday later this week. :)

I have been a huge fan of La Madeleine since my first time eating there! It is always a consistently fabulous experience at every location and I hope it stays in business for a long time to come!

We were greeted and Valarie came out from behind the counter to escort us to the register. She was very pleasant and entered our order with accuracy (even though we said the order incorrectly — she made the changes).

Fast specific service. Good accuracy. Can improve on friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the store. Also more variety would be nice.

The food and the place was very amazing and the people was very educated and willing to help me with the menu .. also, the quality of the food was very good

The ambiance was great, not to loud. We were able to converse.The service was prompt and cheerful. I enjoyed the food also.

I came to visit family here in Houston for the holidays and we came to eat three times! On my way to the airport we picked some pastries to go! We loved the pastries and the quiches! However, our experience was superb due to one person, his name is Eze Nguadu, he is from Nigeria! This gentleman was so courteous and amiable every time we were there! He went out of his way to make sure we were happy, and also saw him doing the same with the other guests around us! His friendly attitude and hard working attitude along with his attention to detail amazed us, especially because I have been working in fine dining restaurants all across the country! If I had a restaurant, I would steal you this person out of your team, he is such a great asset on your team that we would come back to La Madeleine for his service. You have great food, but his service is outstanding! Keep up the good work!
