la Madeleine

Like many restaurants in the San Antonio area, this La Madeleine had the air conditioning set too cold for me. I needed a sweatshirt to be comfortable, and the outside temperature was around 85 degrees and sunny. I anticipated this condition, though, so I did have a sweatshirt with me. I spent about 3 hours I the restaurant that day and after about 2 hours the temperature got warmer inside, comfortable enough for me to remove my sweatshirt. I don't know if someone else asked for it to be warmed up, but I never did.

It did reach the level of overall service

The order taker had difficulty entering our order and then we received the American breakfast instead of the french, the eggs were scrambled, not fried as ordered.

The Croq Madame was too heavy on bread and could have use a sauce over all. I will not order it again. Please bring back the Eggs Parisienne. Till then I'll have the omelet which is usually very good. But the Croq Madame is a loser. I've had it in several restaurants, and this was worst.

Went to La Madeleine's, 18 miles from our house, specifically for Oatmeal at 9:52 and was told they didn't have any-very disappointed.

I was just satisfied because the bread was not stocked completely. But overall I had a great experience. I love this restaurant very much.

We are happy with our experience at La Madeline. Also happy that we have one in our area. Will continue to eat at La Madeline. Good food Good service. Good location.

The people were very helpful and friendly.

The greeter was friendly. The food was hot. The place was clean.

I think the checkout- where you pay should be at the end of the line, not at the dessert by the door. If I would have seen what I ordered I would have ordered something different.
