Time to order took too long even though the restaurant was not busy .

Was not told prior to pick-up that the number of creme brulees I ordered were not available.

Soup was not as hot as it could be for a cold day. Not much direction nor an easy menu placed by the food. The main menu was at the front door but other specials listed at counter. Had to go back and forth to make selection.

I noticed that the servers touched many items around the register etc.. and then handles my food with the same gloves. I felt they needed to change their gloves when they touched other surfaces. You can’t be too careful. Would like to have seen more managers supervising servers.

When I arrived it was a bit chaotic in the restaurant. There was a customer waiting for a large order to be completed, a few other couples waiting to order or deciding what to order. I wasn't sure where to go to place my order but was eventually assisted when things calmed down. The desserts I ordered were beautiful and the associates were very polite as they got the crowd under control. Masks made it a little challenging to communicate but everyone was patient and worked through it.

Overall, the transaction was fine. We did have to wait a few minutes, but I'm not sure if that's because of when we submitted the order. One bag of chips was missing from the order. The food was good. Every item was good.

The quiche and soup were not warm enough. The soup tasted lovely, but the quiche and salad were average at best. Overall, an average meal. Not the quality I expect from Le Madeleine.

The line was short but no one seemed eager to take our order. When they did they were not very nice. No one seemed happy to be working and they looked at each other like nothing was their personal responsibility.

The food is very good but not very varied. The servers were friendly, but not enough to get to Highly. I was almost finished with my lunch when my daughter's pasta arrived. Not a big deal, but then, you missed Highly.

The speed to get 1 sandwich and 1 cup of soup shouldn’t take a long time.
