It took 15 minutes to get a chicken salad sandwich when there was no one in the restaurant. I brought it to the manager's attention. He didn't even apologize. Ridiculous.

I was expecting to use the "Birthday" option to get a pastry. I ordered a blueberry muffin and planned to use my Level Up app as instructed. When my order was rung up it showed a charge for the muffin along with coffee. And was told that a muffin was not considered to be a pastry. I questioned that with no initial adjustment offered. I left not happy. A few minutes later was told that the muffin charge had been removed and an adjustme3nt made. I just checked the associated credit card and not only was the invoice changed, I have actually been charged the for $5.58 a second time. As of now my birthday pastry and coffee have cost me $11.16. Thus my less than positive response.

The person making my salad never greeted me, nor was he friendly. He just stood there and stared at me with a stale face waiting for me to order. I ordered the chicken Caesar Salad and the salad and the chicken were both room temperature. I’ve had these salads before, at other locations and the chicken is always warm and the salad is always cold.

The bottom of the crust on my Spinach Florentine was not cooked. It was a gummy dough and raw, so I only ate the inside, which was luke warm. I called the store and let the manager know..

Best Manager and most of the staff

Had to wait 25 minutes for the order to complete. App said it would be ready at 705pm, I arrived at 710pm, finally left with my order at 740pm. Hot food sat out 30 minutes waiting for something to bake, so it was cold when I left, wouldn't change out for warm food. Got home, found half the strawberries in my order were rotten (not visible when I checked the order). Not spoiled, but rotten and moldy. There were several people working, but only one working with customers, the others were closing down the store at 7pm when I thought the store closed at 9. Manager(?) was busy counting out the registers isntead of helping with the customers. LaMadeleine is one of my favorite places to eat, and this experience was not the norm at all.

No one was at the ordering counter, I had to ask two different people to get someone to assist. After receiving my food and leaving I tasted it and the quiche tasted sour/stale. I had to drive back to return it, which was not convenient.

Terrible and disrespectful attitude on behalf of ALL staff members in the cafe, homeless people sleeping outside the doorway, food was stale, tasted old and gave me a stomachache. Really gross and stomach turning environment. This place needs to be restaffed COMPLETELY!
