la Madeleine

The food was good, which is my first consideration in judging a restaurant. Service was prompt, and the employees were friendly. The cafe was was clean and not noisy, the fresh bread station was full. Silverware and dishes were all clean.

I ordered the new sundried and spinach breakfast croissant, warmed. It was still cool and I did not enjoy the flavor. My husband's goat cheese and bacon croissant was "good but not great". We miss the blackberry cream cheese croissant.

Good servies

The four of us went out of our way to dine at this la Madeleine rather than the Alexandria or Kingstowne locations because the staff are superior, the French onion soup is unmatched and the assorted bread tray is always well stocked. I was disappointed that blackberry preserves weren't available today.

I was satisfied with my experience at la Madeleine because the staff their is always helpful and friendly. Also, the food at la Madeleine never disappoint! Especially the desserts.

The ordering line moved quickly and the employees were friendly. The veggie soup and quiche were delicious! I appreciated the bread and blackberry preserves to augment my meal. The Sacher torte was outstanding and the perfect finish!

Great. Love the atmosphere and everyone’s super friendly. Came here to enjoy pastries and study.

The croissants are excellent. The display of food looks appealing, and the price is fair.
