La Madeleine is my favorite cafe. I grew up in Houston & moved to Dallas with my first job out of college, so I always had access to a La Madeleine. I now live in Key West, FL where there is not a La Madeleine. I came to Houston recently at the end of August to seek proper diagnosis and treatment for Ovarian Cancer at MD Anderson Cancer Center (the best place in the world). I am currently recovering from an infection following major surgery & when my restricted diet allows it, I ask my husband to take me to La Madeleine. Actually, this is a second marriage for both of us and while living in Dallas on Jan. 1, 1998, my now husband and I had a very small seated ceremony of just 5 people & a friend who is a photographer in the lovely banquet room (of your Dallas Parkway location) that reminded me of my one and only visit to France followed by desserts, tea, & coffee and guests showing up to what had been an elopement. At the time, I worked across the street at a computer store where I met my husband, who was a customer & worked for a software company nearby. So you truly have a special place in my heart.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and very welcoming. The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend it to a friend. I'll most likely come again tomorrow.

Great tasting food at a fair price. The desert was fantastic. I enjoyed the strawberries Romanoff and the coffee as well. I have not had one bad experience at this location.

everything came quickly; when a mistake was made on putting blue berries on versus the requested, the server quickly offered to replace or bring out strawberries and did it

La madeleine hot sandwiches and soups are delicious. Also, I like the kids meals I bought there. Placement of order was easy.

Chris was an excellent cashier! He greeted us nicely, repeated our order making sure it was correct and gave us the “Bon Appetit” saying! I love this La Madeliene it was feels like home. Great thanks to the cook Kyle! Our food was perfect like always!
