I requested the sliced bread, and it was not included in my order. I use the bread to dip in the potato soup. I did not notice till I got home with my to go order.

Associates were not communicative, in fact we had to initiate the order/communication. When we asked that a table be cleaned for us to sit we had to wait for an unacceptable time when the associates were not at all busy. There were people already seated in the restaurant and we were the only party (4 total) ordering. When you speak of value, due to COVID restrictions we weren't offered bread/toast that is usually readily available to customers.

We did not receive all of our order. Two items were ordered and paid for, but missing. 1) fruit cup with a kid's meal. 2) the cherry yogurt danish.

Take out salad consistently has only a few drops of caesar dressing leaving the rest of the salad dry. I understand that I should expect better standards at the restaurant but the takeout quality was dry and not half as good as it could be.

Preparing the food takes the longest so making the person taking orders and money do so many other things greatly increses the time it takes to get an order in and food out - stupid!

We went breakfast on Saturday morning and since I am a vegetarian I often will order a bowl of oatmeal with some other side. The time was 10:00 am and we were told that they "sold out" of oatmeal and had none to offer. We asked the manager on duty and she simply shrugged her shoulders and told me that there was none. she did not offer to make any. Good thing it's easy to make eggs right? I would think it more likely that they simply didn't want to make anymore as it was close to 11:00 AM and they then switch to lunch. All that to say, how hard is it to make some oatmeal? And if they ran out, which must have occurred before I asked around 10:00 AM, then why didn't they make more when it occurred? It's just lazy and looks bad. My wife and I have been eating at La Madeleine for over 20 years and little by little the service and attention to doing their job at this location has steadily declined.

Cashier was curt and inconvenienced by my ordering additional items to my to go order.

The staff was not courteous when we started the ordering process. The girl just stood and looked at us. When we were waiting on the additional side we ordered the lady behind the counter was rude and short with us. Neither spoke up so it was hard to hear them in an already loud restaurant. The side items ordered were the same between myself and my husband but the sizes were very different.

Our order which I did online the day before was not correct. The staff member when I called claimed she was to busy to label our boxed sandwiches w names or even what type of sandwiches they were. I did talk to a manager the 2nd time I called and he has offered our office a free lunch next time. As the person responsible for placing our lunch orders this was a mess. This also was our first office lunch at La Madeleine - not a good introduction.
