The order taker at the counter was slightly annoying. I guess he thought he was being funny with his comments but he was just annoying.

Had trouble with rewards app, associate fixed the problem

The restaurant was somewhat dirty. Tables were cleared but not cleaned off very good. In fact one employee just wiped it with their hands. Floors were not swept very good. I saw several customers move to other tables due to tables not cleaned off and several had to go outside to find a table. Otherwise, we received our food quickly, hot and fresh, associates were friendly and helpful.

Eggs prepared improperly This was my second visit to this location First visit I left after hearing wait times for food exceeded 30 minutes - Mgt did not properly staff for 7/5 - day after July 4th

Everyone (customers) was wearing a mask, but the employees.

people working bakery area were too busy talking to one another and not paying attention to customers

A Manager took my order-the item I wanted he explained to me that it does not taste good and I would really not enjoy it because he did not like it at all and he considers himself a food snob. So I made another choice. I also reminded him 3 times to make sure I got my free fruit tart per email updates. When my food was bagged the manager mentioned to me that he ordered at no charge to me the item I originally requested and it was in with my other food. When I got home I realized that what I wanted was not what he comped my at all. Per the website Beef & Parmesan Potatoes is what I was expecting but what I got was Beef with normal mashed potatoes. I must admit that the beef with red wine sauce with mushrooms, red bell peppers and onions was awesome. I am sure the potatoes would have been great as well if the parmesan was added to them. I hope this manager understands that I have eaten at La Madeleine in multiple states and a loyal customer for over 30 years, but he is very wrong about this item on the menu and I would have it again.

I am not enjoying the pastries I order. The chocolate cake has berries in it and the lemon tart isn't lemony.

I ordered a pastry to go and the girl preparing my order literally used her bare hands to grab my pastry and put it in a to go container. I told her that I did not want that pastry since she didn't even use gloves and I did not see her wash her hands. She looked dumbfounded when I pointed it out to her and she gave me another one. No I'm sorry or expression of concern, she just put on gloves and gave me another. Really sad that especially during a pandemic where gloves are readily available, she was too lazy to get some to prepare a guests food.

I ordered three pastries. It took longer than expected to grab 3 pastries to go. 15 minutes from entry to exit.
