la Madeleine

I had placed an order for pick up the food and speed of the order was wonderful, while picking up my order I decided to try the new lemon cookie. When it came time to enjoy my cookie I noticed the bottom of the cookie was burnt.

My girlfriend and I enjoy La Madeleine, and we will return to this location at some point. Unfortunately, today's experience was not so great due to a soggy salad (croutons and lettuce were limp), and management (a man in a red shirt) seemed to be a bit too aggressive in how he corrected one of his older employees. Overall, the general demeanor of the staff seemed a bit depressed itself (although this could be projection at this point), and we are leaving feeling less happy than usual because of.it.

The black trays were not clean. Still had food on them from previous customers. Not sanitary at all. Very disappointed. Also my husband’s omelette came way before my salad, so we couldn’t even eat at the same time.

This location is always slower than any other location. The temperature of the oatmeal was not even warm. The men’s room is nasty, pee all over the floor. Bacon has to be sent back 3 times just to get it extra crispy.

We were one of only two tables in the restaurant at the time. Our food sat forever in the kitchen's window, fully ready, growing cold. We could see from our table. We watched and waited, and they never brought it to us. We had to go ask for it, and they acted like it had just been put there. The tables outside were filthy. We watched an employee clean the entire patio EXCEPT the table tops.

The rice was left off the plate of LA Madeline's chicken, the chicken looked to have been sitting awhile as was the rice when it was received (i.e. not fresh and too thin, not like the picture on the menu showed)...eggs for the other order were to runny and cold. No plates or enough butter on the bread area until asked but the bread was replenished. The tomato's had little flavor. However, the pastries looked delicious as was the bread. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. It was very busy and good seats were available. Thank you.

My partner was completely thru eating and I had to go get my order/food

Order dessert and I was disappointed . It seems like it has been out for a long time, I love the Napoleon but this one was not fresh. And other dressert, I order the same day, an eclair, and a chocolate cake.

First they double charge me for my order. It took forever to get my order out. When order was received most of my food was cold and presentation was horrible. I order two kids chicken pasta and got only pasta plates. Took my receipt to proof I needed the chicken for my hungry kids. It took over 20mins after our food came out to receive my chicken. Asked an employee for the complimentary bread and only me gave sourdough bread after I asked for the wheat. She said that’s all she had slice. I been to several LaMadaleines and I had never been so disappointed.
