Cleanliness is a must. All other cafes were clean except this location. Irving and grapevine locations are frequently visited. Staff is so young and not trained properly. Asked for manager and did not see the manager come out.

Got the wrong meal with wrong sides with no extra sauce and the food was cold by the time I got home.

Ordered a pasta dish which was bland. I returned it and substituted for the Caesar salad. I woke up during the night sick to my stomach.

Took 20 minutes to get our order and they brought it to the wrong table first. She didn’t even look at the posted order number at the table and set it down before I could tell her it was our order. She then picked it up and brought it to our table without even offering to get us a new order (did the other table touch or breathe on our order?)

Ordered a Spring Picnic for 4. Chicken salad was awful, the overloading of salt made it inedible and the fruit was old, had been sitting in its own juices became soggy discolored, also inedible. I called the manager today to complain, "oh I haven't been here for a couple of days, I'll go back and make sure to get fresh fruit and a fresh batch of chicken salad if it's to salty. Thank you for letting me know have a good day... Well I'm glad I can help the next person but I have chicken salad and fruit that's disgusting! Not happy! Terrible customer service, terrible food, won't be back.

customers at order to go counter completely ignored, staff would walk by and look at us and say nothing. No one greeted me, it took way too long to place order, only one person working the counter. Manager in red coat also ignored everyone and never offered to wait on customers. I got my food before lady in front of me & all she ordered was dessert which was sitting in display counter!! No croutons were on my Chicken Caesar salad, the chicken in the foil was cold & had not been heated up like you normally do, there were no lids for plastic to go jelly containers, girl waiting counter was rude and staff were arguing with each other. Worst La Madeleine experience I've ever had and I've been a customer for years; since the Grapevine, TX location opened. Never had such horrible service at the Grapevine location. You need to get rid of the manager (girl with red hair wearing red jacket) as well as the girl waiting on the to go counter today. One woman said she received message her order was ready 10 mins ago; still waiting in line. Another man gave up and went to the dine-in line to order dessert and girl waiting on only dessert asked for her order and was told "I'm working on it."

The employees might as well have been robots. They talked over us. Cut us off while ordering and then would stare at us without a word. Very very strange. Then the manager came over and completely overtook our attempt to finish our ordering with a long wended memorized speech about this survey

I walked into the Cafe and non of the employees acknowledged my existence. I had to say hello and the reason why I was there. I then said I'm here to pick up an order for Monica Morales and the associate just handed me the bag. I didn't get a thank you, have a good day, or anything. I said thank you and have a good day and non of the employees responded. All employees seemed very unprofessional. The order was correct and the pastries tasted wonderful, but being that I got such poor service will keep me from returning.

The order was wrong to start with, the correction was wrong. The manager could have cared less and was in no hurry to see that the order was corrected immediately or offer any apology, nor was anyone else. The wait to get the corrected order, which was wrong also, was way too long. It was 2 salads, the chicken which was left off was dumped on the salad, not even heated, barely any cheese. (This was a chicken Caesar salad). Although i do not live near any La Madeleine, I try to make it a point to go to one if there is one nearby. I have never experienced what I did today. I have also never experienced the bad customer service I received today in ANY RESTAURANT!

In all honesty, I started filling this out while waiting for the manager to resolve an issue, and honestly, her efforts have vastly improved the experience. My roommate who I was with ordered "basil pesto pasta with chicken." She meant the entree. The girl at the register thought she meant the cold salad. Understandably there was confusion and upset when my roommate did not receive what she expected. This is a simple mistake to make on both ends, but perhaps associates should be trained to clarify entree or salad. There was also confusion about resolving the issue as the manager was not immediately available, and this was not communicated well. Apparently the manager was not available because she was fixing my roommate's entree, and personally brought it out. She was very sympathetic and we are quite pleased with the resolution of the issue. My takeaway now is that associates should be trained to clarify on this issue; your manager here is fantastic, with the sort of front-facing qualities your company should promote; and the sauce in the pasta la Madeleine is a bit watery, my only gripe. I can't seem to go back and edit my earlier responses, so I hope a human being reads this.
