The esthetician was very kind and knowledgeable but there was too much time spent on cleaning up during the service, in between application of products. It’s been my experience that products are applied in succession with the exception of a small amount of time given to laying with the warm towel on my face. I just felt unattended a little too much. I understand the need to keep the room and tools clean, but washing instruments and doing other tasks that aren’t preparation for the next application not only takes time away from my service but it detracts from the otherwise relaxing ambiance. I’m really not wanting to sound too critical and I didn’t complain when there. And it could be that this was just a one off and not a pattern. It was just different than any other time I’ve had a facial at Hand and Stone, or anywhere.

There was a mix up with my gift certificates. My husband purchased 2 services but only one gift card was loaded. I needed to call him to find out what the total amount he paid was

The website isn't up to date with the full services available. I tried to book online, and that has even fewer service options than the website.

My wife and requested and it was confirmed we would have 90 minute massages. When we arrived, we discovered we were only booked for 50 minutes. There was zero acknowledgement from the staff that something was wrong. I specifically had to book several weeks out to get the 90 minute massage.

My only problem was that I paid for the addition for the sculp massage, I was informed that with this addition there was a time constraint that she would need to exclude something from the massage. I feel if I am paying for an additional service, it should not be taken out from my original service request. For this reason I have hesitancy booking further services or recommending services to others. As great of a massage and scalp the exclusion to accommodate for time is really a big factor of my decision to continue services.

Everything is always great. The only consistent issue is the booking on the website is usually some version of non-functional and buggy. The ability to book online was a big reason I started going here. I've brought it up a few times to the staff upfront, but I also know they don't have any control over it. Otherwise, love this place, and love Jane!

I am highly satisfied with the massage therapist and reception. But the rooms can be improved from ambiance perspective - mower soothing aromas and architecture would be great to have spa like experience
